Unmistaken Child

Buddhism Buddhism around the World Buddhism in Canada Movies Teacher Stories Vajrayana

There’s a new documentary movie out, about a Tibetan geshe’s search for the reincarnation of his deceased teacher. It’s called “Unmistaken Child,” and was produced by an Israeli film crew over a period of six years in India and Tibet. The movie was well received at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival and has just been commercially released, but as of yet has no Canadian showings planned. Perhaps Canadian Buddhist communities will generate enough momentum to arrange some.
