Recent Burmese democracy demonstrations led by Buddhist monks were reported around the world by citizen journalists who were able to circumvent their repressive government’s banning of foreign media during the troubles. This documentary follows one such young Burmese reporter who risked all to get the message out. The film, which has won numerous awards in its festival showings, is coming to Toronto in July.
