Here's a video of my talk at the New Paths in Teaching Buddhist Studies conference at the R.N. Ho Centre for Buddhist Studies at the University of Toronto. The event was held in February 2020, just before the pandemic was announced. Ironically, my talk begins with a bit about how bad we are about predicting the future! New Paths in Teaching Buddhist Studies is a three-day conference being hosted at the University of Toronto, sponsored by the Robert H.N. Ho Family Foundation Centre for Buddhist Studies and organized by professors Frances Garrett and Sarah Richardson. A limited number of spots are available for people to attend the conference via video link. There are also two public keynote addresses, on Thursday and Friday night. Registration is via Eventbrite.
