Teaching Science to Monks is the initiative of a community of organizations dedicated to introducing scientific education into the curriculum of Buddhist monks. This endeavour has the blessings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama (who is underwriting half the expense) and long-term financial backing from the Sager Family Foundation.
In an effort to raise awareness and additional funds for the project, Bobby Sager has just published a new book on the subject, entitled Beyond the Robe, available from Powerhouse Books through his website: http://www.beyondtherobe.org
Right now, a deluxe limited edition is available (Preview here), but hopefully a mass-market edition will be available shortly.
