Raymond Gaudry, Roshi, received Dharma Transmission from John Tarrant, Roshi, of the Pacific Zen School, February 2nd in London, Ontario.
Pacific Zen originally came out of the Sanbo Kyodan, a Japanese Zen school, but has developed since then and is probably best understood now as leaning towards the old Chinese Linji style.
Raymond is the Director of the London Zen Centre, in London Ontario, where he teaches. He also leads Solitary Brightness Koan workshops across the country.
