Buddhist volunteer(s) needed for prison visits in Kingston
Buddhist volunteer(s) needed to visit a small Buddhist group of about 4 men in Collins Bay correctional institution in Kingston to facilitate/supervise prayers and meditation. No special expertise needed, being a Buddhist is enough! Visits can be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly as able, and would occur either in the morning or afternoon for approximately 1 hour.

Buddhist Chaplain from Toronto visits monthly but the men need a volunteer to be able to congregate at other times, and are keen to spend more time practising together. Being with the men is quite meaningful and brings much benefit to them. They are basically beginners but have received instruction over the last year.
