Sumeru author Richard Bryan McDaniel was recently at the Toronto Zen Center for a reading and book signing as a fundraiser for renovations to their Buddha Hall.
He read from Cypress Trees in the Garden: The Second Generation of Zen Teaching in America (which includes a chapter on Taigen Henderson of the Toronto Zen Centre).
The event raised $500 for the renovation fund.
