“Meditation and the art of investment” is an article in the Financial Post yesterday, picked up from the Thomson Reuters wire service, and the title is pretty self-explanatory.
Several big-name American financial managers who espouse meditation and yoga as techniques are briefly profiled. There’s a nice picture of a Buddha statue and the following pithy advice: “The attraction meditation has for some money managers is that it can put them into a frame of mind where they are less liable to fall into costly and self-defeating thinking patterns.”
Ethical investing is not mentioned in the article.
