Via the GTHA Wesak organization committee…
On February 17, we had a good startup meeting with over 18 temples and associations from the GTA. Bhante Saranapala (chairing the event) welcomed the attendees and reviewed the success of last year. We intend to expand both the event and the attendees this year and introduced the event website (www.vesakcelebration.com) as well as the Twitter and Facebook elements to the campaign. We hope to extend our reach into the general Canadian population.
Attached please find the application form for a booth and magazine page. Those who were present already have this form and we have requested that you fill yours out ASAP (deadline end of March). As last year, the price is $300.00, and your temple or association will be listed on the website. Whenever we receive your form, we shall list your temple name and website on our official website. Some temples are already listed on the website. Please take a look.
