The “Buddhism and Contemporary Society” Program, funded by the Tung Lin Kok Canada Foundation, will be hosting a conference on October 15-17, 2010, at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. The title of the conference is Buddhism in Canada: Global Causes, Local Conditions.
The program operates a WordPress blog, which will host all information about the conference as it becomes available. Right now it is just showing the Call for Papers (the deadline for which has passed) as well as lots of information about the program’s other activities. Stay tuned for further details.
