For those curious about meditation and interested in painting this may be the retreat for you. No previous painting or meditation experience necessary.
This retreat will involve daily group sitting, walking meditation, solitary practice time in individual cabins and afternoon painters’ salon.
Participants will keep the first ten precepts of novice monks and nuns. This includes silence, except during the studio salon.
During the afternoons retreatants will meet at various inspiring locales situated at the centre to paint and share in an artists’ salon.
Retreatants must be enthused, self-motivated and self-directed, – Buddhayana is not a teaching center, but a practice center.
The individuals of the group will be fully responsible for the success of this retreat.
This unique practice opportunity is offered for those with a desire to practice in both a solitary and group setting.
