Geo-location technology has evolved dramatically since we first tried adding a Google Map API to the directory in 2010. It was so unstable we had to give up the attempt. Now, creating the map was a breeze, and took only a few days to build from my database.
My database is, in fact, larger than the 400 organizations pinned to the map. There are other sanghas who have websites and social media presence, but do not meet at a regular physical location under their own names. I've created a PDF of those additional 125 Canadian Buddhist organizations.
