Dr. Danny Fisher is a Buddhist teacher dedicated to the practice and promotion of a “A People’s Buddhism,” an approach to the Buddha’s teachings that emphasizes lovingkindness, compassion, and social justice for all. Along with his many Buddhist activities, he is also a dedicated environmentalist, trained and certified as a Climate Reality Leader by Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore and the Climate Reality Project in 2012. In addition, Danny completed the Aldo Leopold Foundation’s Land Ethic Leader Program in 2014. He lives near Toronto.
Dr. Danny Fisher has been called “a leading young Buddhist activist” by the Religion News Service and one of the “great American teachers working to articulate Buddhist challenges to injustice” by Salon.com.
