A Dialogue on the Three Major Traditions of Buddhism
Lithuanian Hall, 1573 Bloor Street West, Toronto
Saturday, November 8, 2014 – 2 pm
Hosted by Karma Sonam Dargye Ling
We are inviting representatives of different branches of Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism to speak on the views and ethics of their individual traditions. The objective of the dialogue is to provide an opportunity for the audience to hear of the essential similarity of all Buddhist traditions. While the practices of the path may vary, the end result of enlightenment is the same. This unity is the message of this symposium.
