Sumeru has been covering the conflict for some time now between Cham Shan Temple’s project to build a replica of Wutai Shan and the other three sacred Buddhist mountains from China in the Kawartha Lakes District of Ontario vs. the Ontario government’s plan to site three wind farms near the properties.
Now the CBC has picked up the story and last night aired a piece on the 10 pm news about how the Wutai Shan Kawarthas project is handling the issue.
