Edo Japan Grill recently celebrated the opening of their 100th restaurant franchise location, in Edmonton. So what’s the Buddhist connection? The chain was launched in Calgary in 1979 by Susuma Ikuta, a Buddhist minister who resigned in 1999 to become Bishop of the Buddhist Churches of Canada!
