KKC Losar 2013 schedule
Losar, Tibetan New Year, takes place from February 8th to February 11th, inclusive. The schedule is as follows:
Daily Schedule (Fri-Sun, Feb 8-10):
Long Green Tara Practice – 7:30 a.m.
Breakfast – 8:30 a.m.
Long Six-Arm Mahakala Practice – Session 1 – 9:30
Lunch – 11:30
Long Six-Arm Mahakala Practice – Session 2 – 1 p.m.
Tea break – 2:30 p.m.
Long Six-Arm Mahakala Practice – Session 3 – 3:00 p.m.
Short Six-Arm Mahakala Sadhana and Tsok Offering followed by Aspiration Prayers recited in English – 6 p.m.
– Friday: Niguma Aspiration Prayer
– Saturday: Shangpa Aspiration Prayer
– Sunday: King of Aspiration Prayer
Monday, February 11 – Losar
8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
The Prayer to the Eightfold Jewels for Auspicious Good Fortune, The Mountain of Burnt Offerings Prayer (Fire Puja), Losar Celebration, Happy New Year wishes from Lama Tsultrim via telephone.
