Description: To coincide with the recently formed Buddha Name Recitation Group here in Toronto, DDMBA Ontario is very pleased and honored to welcome Venerable Guo Dong and Fashis to lead us in our chapter’s very first Buddha Name Recitation Retreat. Buddha Name recitation is one very excellent method of purifying the Mind, and can also be used as a meditative practice in itself. Like all forms of mindful practice, it can also be an entry point to investigating the mind, and can even be used to enhance the Huatou method of asking “Who is reciting Buddha’s name?” We hope that you can join us for this event, which includes complimentary vegetarian lunch, plus periods of chanting in a peaceful, relaxed retreat environment.
To Register: Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or leave a voice message at (416) 855-0531.
Peace and Harmony,
Please note that registration is required for both events, although admission is free.
